Packaging Development Specialist

For our client, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland, we are looking for a

Packaging Development Specialist 60% - 80% (Ref. Nr. 3030)
Primary & secondary packaging – sustainability focus

Your main tasks

• Develop and optimize primary and secondary packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products.

• Conduct packaging compatibility and stability studies per ICH guidelines.

• Drive sustainability initiatives in packaging (recyclable materials, reduced waste).

• Manage artwork development and coordinate with print suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with serialization, tamper evidence, and labeling requirements.

Your profile

• Degree in Packaging Engineering, Material Science, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.

• 3-5 years of pharmaceutical packaging development experience.

• Knowledge of packaging materials (glass, polymers, aluminum) and container-closure systems.

• Understanding of ICH Q1 stability guidelines and extractables/leachables testing.

• Experience with sustainable packaging solutions is highly valued.
